Environmental Policy

Peterborough Ear Care aims to minimise its ecological footprint wherever possible by the application of some core principles:

• Seeking to minimise journeys in both number and distance

• Only using recycled materials for advertising leaflets, signage, and posters*

• Not using AI systems and where compelled to do so by technology partners minimising use to the bare minimum

• Using workwear made from natural fibres, or otherwise easily recyclable textiles

• Using energy-efficient equipment and technology to deliver care - for instance using Raspberry Pi technology which has super-low energy demands instead of the usual Windows or Apple laptops.

There are areas where we are currently unable to compromise client safety, such as using single-use suction tips etc. but we commit to continuing our search for practical, viable alternatives to these wasteful practices.

*Advertising is sadly one area where traditional paper-based media is still important and until the website and business is well-established we will be running campaigns based around leaflets delivered on foot, door to door. As soon as these can be phased out, we commit to doing so.
